Adam Naisbitt Living Memorial
Adam Naisbitt Living Memorial
Amazing Ski & Snow People, the Alta Ski Patrol community, and Adam Naisbitt’s family recognize the profound impact that Adam had on his friends, coworkers, and loved ones. This annual event in honor of Adam’s life and passions is intended as an opportunity for his clan to plan and participate in an experience that fosters self-awareness and increased consciousness of each other. We aim to invest in the ongoing mental health of the group while sharing Adam’s legacy with generations to come.
Qualities, values, and passions that Adam embodied are considered in the planning process:
New learning
Continuing education
Community
Environment
Science
Art/Music
Communication
Spirituality
Soulfulness
Youth

Planning committees include four to five members of the Alta Ski Patrol community as well as members of Adam’s family. In order to sustain the energy, creativity, and thoughtfulness of the committee, patrol community contributors pass the honor of serving on the committee to another member of the patrol community for the next season.
Amazing Ski & Snow People raises funds to support the Living Memorial by hosting the Groundhog Day Celebration and opportunity drawing.
Additional donations are welcome!
2021 Adam Naisbitt Living Memorial Update
After unfortunately having to postpone the Adam Naisbitt Living Memorial in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the ANLM committee decided to press on and carry out an adjusted Covid Friendly plan a year later. This meant instead of a large group gathering, everyone was split into four small groups of ten or less. We tried to incorporate Adam’s love for the desert, mapping and art. The goal was to spend three days in the San Rafael Swell creating a map of the area. While there are plenty of maps that are easily accessible, each person has the creative freedom to create their own map. Each group was successful in their mission and we are excited to pass the torch on and see what next year's ANLM Committee will bring.
