2026 Curt & Adam Naisbitt Memorial Groundhog Day Race

*Race registration will be open until 8:00 am MST Febuary 2nd, 2026. All racers will also be automatically entered 5 times into our annual opportunity drawing. Additionally, all entry fees are final and no refunds will be issued. Race registration fees are directly applied to the cost of renting Alta Ski Area’s Sunnyside Race Arena.

2026 Schedule 

Monday, February 2nd, 2026

Where: Sunnyside Race Arena

8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.   Bib Pick-Up and waiver signing @ Albion Grill and T-Shirts for sale

9:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Course open for qualifying races. Each racer gets two qualifying races, ideally one on each course. Top 16 racers in each category advance to afternoon races. 

12:50 p.m Finals Announcement @ Top of Race Hill, all racers need to be present

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.   Finals: head-to-head single elimination races

6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Race Celebration in the Cafe at the Goldminer’s Daughter (21 years and older)
